Therapeutic massage combines long, kneading strokes of Swedish massage with kneading deep tissue massage to reduce stress, pain and muscle tension, and increase relaxation and blood flow.
Ashiatsu is a form of barefoot massage where the therapist uses their feet to provide a deep, luxurious pain-free massage. Dating as far back as the 12th century, Ashiatsu originates from Asia and India.
Ashiatsu massage is unique in its ability to maintain constant, even pressure to the entire body. It provides clients with deep pressure without bruising or residual soreness.
Deeply relaxing, Ashiatsu provides longer-lasting effects with increased postural alignment and increased circulation.
A relaxation massage is similar to a therapeutic massage, but less pressure is used. Relaxation massage uses flowing Swedish massage strokes along with gentle kneading to reduce stress, pain and muscle tension, and increase relaxation and blood flow.
Prenatal massage has been shown to provide many benefits, including a sense of wellness, pain relief, improved relaxation, and better sleep.
During a prenatal massage, expecting mothers can choose from our prenatal pillow to lay face down or choose to be side-lying during the massage. Clients are then transitioned to their back with a pillow under the right side to prevent compression on the inferior vena cava, which can decrease blood pressure for both mom and baby.
Massage cupping uses silicone cups to soften tight muscles and tone attachments, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue, bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues, move deep inflammation to the skin surface for release, and drain excess fluids and toxins by opening lymphatic pathways.
Despite its reputation for leaving red marks on clients, our cupping techniques consist mostly of dynamic movement of the cups, rather than static placement.
During a chair massage, the client is fully clothed and the massage is done in a massage chair. No massage lotions or oils are used. This is a great option for massages on your lunch break or for someone who is new to massage therapy.
Sessions generally last from 15 to 30 minutes and help relieve pain, stress and tension.
Relieve stress, tension and headaches with a face and scalp massage. During your face/scalp massage, the therapist will use little to no lubricant along with acupressure points, gentle massage techniques and multi-directional friction to relieve tension in the face and scalp.
Face/scalp massages generally last 15 to 30 minutes.
When adding a body scrub to your massage, expect to feel pampered. The benefits of a body scrub are numerous, but most importantly you'll feel amazing and relaxed.
Body scrubs are great for your skin but also tap into your parasympathetic nervous system and can provided benefits such as increased relaxation, and reduced blood pressure, depression and anxiety.
